We grew up with a love of all things outdoors — long summers, salty hair, and countless memories at the beach. These days, not much has changed. We’re still outside whenever we get the chance: chasing adventures, catching waves, taking slow walks with sandy kids, and drinking coffee in the sun — and we know how harsh our UV is. 

nice day came from a moment in the aisle of the supermarket: why do we have more haircare than sunscreen? Why is sunscreen still so hard to love?



New Zealand has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world, primarily due to high UV exposure from sun and a lifestyle that often involves being outdoors.

We set out to make one that feels good on your skin, so you’ll use it properly — and give you a product that you would re-apply. Using the right amount of sunscreen matters, because consistent SPF use is one of the best ways to protect yourself.
